We commenced work on this high-profile city centre hotel in March 2020, just the start of the pandemic. As we were the only company working on the scaffold and therefore isolated we continue to work on this project right through the first phase of the national lockdown. As well as totally washing the total elevation with a very strong masonry detergent, washed off with superheated steam we also completed: 210 brick repairs; 151 stone repairs; 140 m² of pointing with a lime-based colour matched mortar as well as stabilising over five linear metres of cracks with stainless steel helicals; re-masticing 12 linear metres of window frames as well as colour washing the repairs with an electronically colour matched lime wash to hide the repairs undertaken.
